Here and Everywhere
9 months later.
That's enough time to carry & birth a child. Don't worry, I haven't gone and done that.
To catch you up on the last 9 months would be impossible. And impossible is an understatement. But to put it simply, I've been everywhere. I have definitely lived a little. I've been places that only seemed possible in my dreams. Belive me, I wasn't the one that got me there, or even here. I just said "yes," and Jesus did the rest. I am now more confident than ever that Jesus is amazing. He's also extremely faithful. Being confident in that keeps me going hard.
Today. Now I can catch you up on that.
Today's that...well, I've come to realize that no matter how much life we have lived, we constantly have to be reminded that God is good. Our lives like to try and tell us otherwise. Situations happen. Cars break down. School's rough. You aren't getting hours at work. No job. Family's falling apart. Lack of vision. Lack of finances. No one to talk to. No one that understands. Sick. Loss of direction. Confused...I mean this whole life thing tends to get complicated over night. Night after night.
Wow, are we good at convincing ourselves that life is complicated or what! Right here Jesus speaks our language. If not "our" than He certainly spoke mine. He said it plain and simple. "Follow Me." Now that I can do! Forget all that complicated stuff, I like simple. So, that's the theme of my life. Following Him. Just for today, cause getting too far ahead gets me trippin on the future, and then I forget to live for today. As far as tomorrow goes, I'm pretty sure that's gonna be the theme too, but we shall see. ;)
You should try following Him too. Life becomes outstanding.
